We've officially survived our double header weekend and are looking forward to some killer upcoming shows, including Bay Area Yearbook Night on Saturday, December 14th at the Kilowatt in San Francisco!
Hosted by the Bay's best show photographer (IMHO) Earthling Entertainment, and described in his own words:
"After photographing dozens upon dozens of bands this year, it occurred to me that printing a physical memento for the local music community might be a nice collectable to have when we are old and gray. It then occurred to us that it would be fun to frame it in the style of a 2024 yearbook day, similar to what some high schools do, where people have a few hours with their friends and their books to get them to sign each others keepsake. Hence, Yearbook Night 2024. Half Party, Half Show, all Friends. We have a few other things planned too that night, a small awards show (best guitar face, etc), a sticker-trading table, local only music on the PA, a year recap.
We have a rad and eclectic lineup of six bands playing 30 minute sets, which includes Rainbow City Park, Orbit 17, The Undercurrent, Modern Monsters, Horrhaus and one band that is yet to be announced (to be revealed on December 1st). We’re starting off with the Indie and ending with the heavy hitters. With five turn-overs there’ll be plenty of time for hanging out and seeing all of your friends."
