We are INCREDIBLY excited about the next batch of songs we've got coming out, starting with today's release, "Tunnels."

This is a song that has been a long time coming as we've been slowly perfecting our recording and production process. We hope that you take a moment to give it a listen, or better yet, come see us perform it live at one of our upcoming shows!

In related news we've got more live shows upcoming, including our next performance at Winters Tavern in Pacifica on September 29th for "Fogfest!" We'll be playing outdoors (for our first time no less) at 6pm with live music going on all day! Stop by and say "hi!"

And last, but not least, we have another new member to welcome to the Orbit 17 family, Ziggy! Join us in giving her a warm welcome!

Once again we’ve got a big announcement to make today! Long ago, it was foretold that for Orbit 17 to reach its true potential, we would need to probe the mysterious, alien depths of vocal harmony. Thus we began our search for the heralded chanteuse who could add their unearthly hymns to our celestial chorus.

Today we’re thrilled to announce that Mary Herigstad-Franz will be adding her vocals to Orbit 17! Please join me in welcoming her aboard!Mary is a Bay Area native and lifelong performer. She joined choir and started performing in plays and musicals at the age of seven and has been hooked on singing, acting and dancing ever since.

Outside of singing she’s a huge movie buff, sushi lover, loves to dance ballet (badly) and hang out with her dog, Super. You can find her haunting the Bay Area music venues most nights, Tecate in hand.

In other news Mary will be making her first appearance with Orbit 17 this weekend at the Kockout in San Francisco! We hope you can be there to welcome her and cheer her on!

We'll be sharing the stage with Our Fathers and Please, Please. It's an early show with music starting at 6pm. Tickets will be $10 at the door. See you there!
